Week 4 baby! And the turn out just keeps on building! This week we saw lots of rain here in Virginia, but labor activists didn't let it stop them from talking to union members about the election -- post card writers, phone bankers, and door knockers turned up all week to make sure union members were being heard and that they were being educated on the upcoming election .
**Special thank you to our Saturday walk sponsors - NATCA in NOVA, CWA 2205 in Norfolk, and IBEW 666 in Richmond!
All in all, we are working hard, but we are now almost a month a way from Election Day -- Virginians can early vote (in some localities on Sunday(s)) and they can register to vote on Election Day as well -- that being said, we need more hands on deck to make things shake out in favor of working people this election because there is so much to do and so little time! Help us recruit some more union members to help in the efforts of Labor 2025. Be sure to check out our calendar page to sign up for our virtual phone banks, canvass launches, and more held in your area throughout the week!

We’ve wrapped up another dynamic week in our Labor 2025 campaign! The energy on the ground is palpable as we continue to mobilize and engage with union members across Virginia.
A Huge Thanks to Our Canvass Teams!
This week, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who turned out for our canvassing efforts. Your commitment to talking with fellow union members about the importance of this election is what makes our movement strong. It’s inspiring to see so many seasoned activists sharing their experiences and motivating others to get involved!
As we inch closer to the November election, it’s crucial that we amplify our voices. Every conversation counts, and the issues we discuss today will shape the future for our families and communities. Remember, your vote is your power!

Second week is down in the books! This week we made more calls and knocked even more doors!
**Special thank you to our Saturday walk sponsors - NATCA, NALC, and Richmond CLC!
At our Saturday canvasses, union activists came together to talk to other union members about the election, and this week proved to be the week of our well-seasoned union activists on the doors, and they had a blast while they knocked until they couldn't knock anymore.
This election season, Virginia is at a pivotal point where with each week we come closer and closer to putting pro-labor, working family friendly candidates in office to ensure that we protect our union and working family rights. The issues of today, could be resolved with every union member's vote casted this November. This is why we will continue to talk to our members and more importantly, listen to what they care about when it comes to daily life and who they will vote for.
Speaking of voting...We are gearing up for early vote, which begins next week, Friday, September 19th. Be sure to let your union members and family and friends know all about how to early vote by checking out our info page.

What a first week ! Well...actually, we have been full force in the Labor 2025 cycle since the beginning of summer with our great release staff, but this week, we had great labor day celebrations across the state and to end the week, we kicked off our Saturday canvasses with a great turnout of union activists to knock doors of our fellow union members!
**Special thank you to Eastern Virginia Labor Federation, VPFF, and UFCW Local 400 for sponsoring our first walks of the cycle across the state!
This year, it's all hands on deck as we ramp up our real conversations on the phones and on the doors with our union members about the issues that are most important to them, and if not more importantly, what's at stake this election cycle. With the theme: It's about us, not about them, all across the state, union members have been talking to other union members to hear what they care about, to inform them about the importance of voting in this election, assisting in updating voter registrations, and giving all the important dates and details needed to cast a ballot this election.
Our volunteers this week kicked it off knocking tons of doors! Some great conversations and responses occurred throughout all the excitement of being able to come together. You can really feel the excitement and momentum this year when speaking to our members -- they are fired up and ready to go!
