Hampton Roads Transit:
HRT is offering free rides on all services Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, as a public service. The free rides run the length of the service day on buses, light rail, ferry, paratransit, and OnDemand rideshare. Find your local route: https://gohrt.com/routes/

Other organizations offering rides to the polls with free ride promo codes include:
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
This year, they have partnered with Lyft to provide discounted rides to help voters get to the polls. Use the code NAACPVOTE24 to claim up to $20 off of two rides ($40 total)— one to the polls and one back. This offer runs from November 1st through Election Day, November 5, while supplies last.
Lyft:
When riders use the code "VOTE24" they will receive a 50% discount (up to $10) when heading to the polls on Election Day. The code will be valid from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. in every time zone and applies to rideshare, bikeshare, and scooters.
Uber:
Uber is also offering a 50% discount to riders up to $10, however, their discount is not through a code but through a new section of the Uber app called "Go Vote." Users can also use the Go Vote tile to find their polling place. The Uber discount will not be available in all states. The offer begins at midnight on Nov. 5 and expires at 11:59 p.m. on Election night.
Ride Share 2 Vote:
They do their best to accommodate every reservation and ask that you remain flexible in the event they need to reschedule you due to driver availability. They need at least 2-hours in advance to request a Ride2Vote. **Their rides are free and round trip.
